Project Photographs & Online Estimates
Customers may send photographs of vehicles, boats, furniture, seats, or other items to help us understand a potential project.
Photographs can be helpful for providing preliminary information, but they may not reveal the complete condition of an item.
An in-person inspection may be necessary before we can provide a final estimate or determine the full scope of work.
Materials, Colors & Samples
Actual upholstery materials may differ slightly in appearance from photographs displayed on a computer, tablet, or phone.
Colors can also appear differently depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and individual devices.
When selecting an important color, texture, leather, vinyl, fabric, or other material, customers should review physical samples whenever practical.
Material availability is subject to change.
Custom Upholstery
Custom upholstery is made or modified specifically for an individual project.
Because every project is different, the final appearance may vary from inspiration photographs, drawings, digital images, examples, or previous projects.
We will make reasonable efforts to achieve the agreed-upon design while taking into consideration the shape, construction, materials, condition, and limitations of the item being upholstered.
Existing & Hidden Damage
Removing old upholstery may reveal conditions that could not reasonably be identified beforehand.
These may include deteriorated foam, damaged frames, rust, broken components, weakened backing materials, previous repairs, water damage, mold, corrosion, or other deterioration.
Additional repair or replacement may be recommended when these conditions are discovered.
Completion Times
Any estimated completion date or timeframe is an estimate unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.
Completion times can be affected by the complexity of the project, availability of materials, supplier delays, additional repairs, changes requested by the customer, and other circumstances.
We make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the timeframe discussed with the customer.
Customer-Supplied Materials
Customers should discuss any materials they intend to supply with us before purchasing or delivering them.
Not every fabric, leather, vinyl, foam, or other material is appropriate for every application.
Marcos Best Upholstery may decline to use customer-supplied materials that we believe are unsuitable for the project.
Before & After Photographs
We may photograph upholstery projects for documentation and portfolio purposes.
Project photographs may occasionally be used to demonstrate our workmanship on our website, social media, advertising, or other promotional materials where appropriate.
Customers who have concerns about photographs of their project being used publicly should notify us.
Personally identifying information will not intentionally be published with project photographs without permission.
